Rated: 2/5 Sep 21, 2023 Full Review Wifelike | Rotten Tomatoes (2) Kat Halstead Common Sense Media If he's looking to make a point about the patriarchy, it's odd that the film is mostly seen from a male POV, and so much time is taken on the camera roving over women's near-naked bodies. Rated: 2/5 Sep 5, 2023 Full Review Wifelike | Rotten Tomatoes (3) Steven Warner In Review Online Bird proves he is a more than competent filmmaker; let’s hope he can take that talent and actually do something of legitimate substance with it next time out. Sep 1, 2022 Full Review Wifelike | Rotten Tomatoes (4) Erik Childress Movie Madness Podcast For about ten minutes James Bird’s film crafts the right mold of satiric indifference in a misogynistic future, but soon gives itself over to generic action and none of the genuine debate of its more lauded sci-fi predecessors. Rated: 2/4 Aug 16, 2022 Full Review Wifelike | Rotten Tomatoes (5) Carla Renata The Curvy Film Critic Johnathan Rhys Meyers and Elena Kampouris sizzle on screen with undeniable chemistry resulting in sheer fireworks, whether they are speaking or not. However, their combined electricity isn't enough to make this slow burn film palatable. Prityanshu J The movie was average but the main actress did a great job But the ending was not satisfactory Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/24 Full Review Holmesmade R Yeah, your wife is just a toy for sex. Having said that this woman did have a weird shape. I hope she doesn't look like that in real life! Awful movie all round. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/09/24 Full Review Audience Member It is beyond my understanding why would Jonathan Rhys Meyers take part in this production after working with Woody Allen and Scarlet Johanson. I liked the idea but the plot and execution is just awful, cheap and tasteless. Feels like a B class movie. Shame. Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/06/24 Full Review Karl H The actress that plays Meredith , is absolutely brilliant , I never understand these ratings, people will be put off a great film . Watch and enjoy it . Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/05/24 Full Review Simon M Elena Kampouris does excellent work, but the film itself is a little dull and seems to have women in underwear in most shots, as a sort of fantasy perhaps to distract from the lack of compelling plot. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Melvin F Elena Kampouris was unbelievable in his film. Her acting as the android was superb. The story had a few twists and turns, I have to say I could not see all of them coming. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
